"Obedience is central to becoming, being, and remaining happy."
-David A. Bednar
I believe this quote really speaks for itself and says it all. That when you have obedience you and you are obedient 24 hours 7 days a week it makes you happy. When you are obedient you have freedom and so many other things to be happy. For example if in your job you start off as an intern and you do everything you are told then that will look good and then they could hire you, then if you continue to be obedient then could promote you and then you could end up being high up in the position ladder at your job which will make you very happy. Being obedient brings so much good, positive things in your life that you wouldn't get if you were not obedient.

Final-Part 2 Life Planning
I have accomplished various goals from my life planning notebook. I think it has helped to have a better understanding of what I want in life. I think I am doing well with accomplishing my goals. I think that I have to write even more short term goals since I have many long terms goals. I really do want to continue reading this throughout my lifetime because that way I know what I want in mind and I'll go for it even more and I will feel so much happiness when I could put acheck mark next to the goal that I wrote back in 9th grade. I also make the commitment to keep adding goals. I think I might write them again in a binder so they could be organized, but I will still continue reading them and writing them.
Final Part 1
1.What did you like best about this class?
What I liked best of this class was that I read a lot of quotes that really helped me and have stuck with me because they were very good. I really like that we were able to get free time sometimes and I was able to use that time to catch up with stuff from other classes. I also liked that I was able to learn about medical careers that I would've never thought existed. Finally, I also liked how I was able to learn more about different options that microsoft offered in each of its programs.
2.What did you dislike about this class?
Even though I like learning about the career and reading the quotes I disliked that it was the usual routine every time in class.
3.What can you recommend to improve the class?
I would recommend that once in a while it would be good to change up the routine and more little projects like the brochure; I really liked that one because I filled myself with more information.
4.What will you always remember about this class?
What I will always remember about this class is to always choose the right!

Student Success Statement
This quote is saying that obedience really is a big thing in your life. Its not easy to be obedient in life all the time and that's what makes it a test, will you be obedient even though you have to do something you might not want to like your parents telling you to clean your room and you don't want to or just because you don't want to do it are you not going to be obedient. You need to have obedience to be able to get to the top. Not being obedient can cause some negative consequences. When I was in leadership in my old school I had to do things that I wasn't comfortable with that the teacher made me do like speaking at the culmination or going to speak to the principal or speaking into the speaker or going into random classes to tale things to the teachers. Even though those things were out of comfort zone I did them and after a while I got used to it and all I would think about was just doing what she had told me and I didn't think
anymore about if it was in my comfort zone or not. I could have
easily told her I didn't want to do it and I would've probably gotten
kicked out of leadership and I wouldn't have ever made myself
comfortable with the things she told me to do.

I believe this quote means that for you to be actually educated you have to have obedience. If you aren't obedient then all you cause yourself are negative consequences. You can never learn if you don't have obedience. Its saying the the first and one of the most important principles of actually learning in life is obedience. For example if you are not obedient in school then you will not be learning to your full potential since you aren't paying attention. if you don't do your homework you aren't getting extra practice on the work you're doing in class and then when the test come you won't get some things and your grade can drop.

I believe this quote is saying that what we are responsible for doing every day, every minute of ours lives is to be obedient. If you're not obedient then you can have a lot of negative consequences. If you are not obedient to your parents they can ground you or take something of yours away. If you are not obedient with the law you can go to jail or prison. If you are not obedient with your teachers then you can get bad grades and won't ever get somewhere in life. If you are not obedient with your boss then you may lose your job. You have to be obedient to be successful. The point is that you have to be obedient all the time it was you are meant to do.

Student Success Statement
I believe this quote means that how much freedom you have depends on how obedient you are. For example my parents what they mainly ask of me is to get good grades in school and since I do when I ask them if I can go out with a friend or two they say yes. They know they can trust me to get back at whatever time they tell me too which gives me freedom for a while but it's because I'm obedient with them. If i wasn't obedient they wouldn't let go out very often and they would also be on my back. Another example is if you aren't obedient and don't follow the law and then you end up in jail which is taking away your freedom but it was your choice no to obey, that why it's important to be obedient with everything and everyone.

Harmful Effects and Consequences of Drug Abuse
It's sad how these people do drugs for the pleasure for a couple of hours, but don't realize that they are hurting their whole life. I saw how the person who does drugs affects themselves and their whole family. I saw people how thought that doing drugs will help them forget about their problems, but in reality just caused more problems. I saw how drugs lead you to choose the wrong like stealing money to be able to buy the drugs. It's sad how people die because of these drugs that they thought at first were only going to give them the high and not kill them. I saw how many people influence their friends to also do drugs. I think its sad that so many people decide to choose to do drugs just because they feel like they're in control, but don't realize that even one pill can cause them to die. You're the one who decides for yourself and no one else can make decisions for you, however there is always help if people ever decide to realize that drugs isn't the right thing to do. I will always be drug free.

"A wise man ought to realize that health is his most valuable possession." - Hippocrates

This quote is saying that your health is really important. For example you can't be a drug addict and at the same time want to graduate university with honors. Exercise is good to your health. Drugs, alcohol, and smoking can be bad for your health. You need to be healthy to be someone in life, however there are cases in which you have a illness or disease or disorder that may affect you and there really isn't much you can do about it besides trying to get better. Of course there is some things that can be prevented if you lead a healthy lifestyle. If you're not healthy you really don't have anything.

"Have the courage to say no. Have the courage to face the truth. Do the right thing because it is right.' - W. Clement Stone
I believe this quote means that you have to say no when you are asked if you want to do the wrong thing because its the right thing to do. You have to say the truth because its the right thing to do and if you don't you would be choosing the wrong which is easier to do than than the right thing. You have to do the right thing because its what is right not because you want a reward or you want people to recognize you, you choose the right because you want to have a clear conscious and feel good about yourself. For example if you see someone bullying someone else you don't just ignore it, you have to go to an adult and let them know what's going on.
