"To know what is right and not to do it is the worst cowardice."
Confucius
I think this quote means that if you what the right thing to do is and you don't do it then you're doing the wrong. For example if you know that your teacher doesn't like cheating and someone asks you if they can copy your homework and you know it wrong but you still give them your homework then you end up doing the wrong.

Honesty From College Athletes

In Wayne, New Jersey fours college athletes went inside a store believed that it was open and since they couldn't find the attendant the left the money for the stuff they got next to the cashier. I think that it made them happy and good inside when they were told that they had chosen the right. They got rewarded for doing was right. It made happy to see that they chose the right because they could have stolen everything they wanted, but they didn't.

My Summer

At first I didn't do anything, I just slept, watched television, and went on the internet. I pretty much did that all summer long until the end of July. In the end of July we decided to see how much planes tickets were to go to Cancun for my dad and me. We also investigated the price with the hotel and we found a good deal. My dad bought the tickets and booked the hotel and we left two days after the day we booked. It was really surprising because I wasn't expecting it. We were planning to go to Cancun until December as a birthday present so I was really excited that we were going way earlier. While in Cancun we went to see the Mayan ruins which were incredible to see. We also went to a natural water hole where we were allowed to go swimming. We went to this park called Xcaret which has both marine animals and land animals and I got to go swimming with dolphins for the second time since i had gone to Cancun one time before this summer. We went to lots of other amazing places and this trip highlighted my summer.

When we got back to Los Angeles we were waiting for my luggage but we couldn’t find it. We had to go to baggage claim and they told me my luggage was in Phoenix and I wasn’t able to get it back until the next day. I was worried that what would happen if I didn’t get it back but I tried to keep positive and the next day I did get it back and I was so happy.

"Always do Right."
Mark Twain
I believe this means that you should never do the wrong because the right will get you farther in life. The meaning of this quote is pretty simple always do the right.  For example, when some asks if they could copy your homework the right thing to do is that you don't let them because then they aren't learning for themselves.

"Success is simple. Do what's right, the right way, at the right time."
Arnold H. Glasgow

I believe this quote means that to be successful all you have to do is do what is right and not do the wrong. If you do the right you'll be rewarded by being successful in life. This quote also tells me that if you do the wrong you'll be a failure. As long as you always do the right in life you'll be successful.

"We need the courage to start and continue what we should do, and the courage to stop what we shouldn't do."
Richard L. Evans

I think this quote means that you should be able to know when you're doing something wrong and stop it because you know it's the wrong. It also means that you should know what the right thing to do is and you should do it instead of doing what is wrong.

"Start with what is right rather than what is acceptable."
- Peter F. Drucker

I believe this quote means that you have to go farther than what you are told. To succeed you have to farther than the rest because if you don't you wont stand out from the rest.  Going farther or working harder than the rest will get you more or/better rewards than those who just do what is acceptable and don't try to go further.

HPIAM

I really like that teachers are nice and they are willing to help. I'm really excited about this school year because this is a new school for me and there is a lot of new faces. I'm really excited to make new friends and see old ones. I can't wait to get into school clubs with some of my friends. I have never had a computers class before and for that reason it's a bit weird for me to be in this class. I have Spanish class which I'm excited for because I really would like to improve my writing and reading of that language. I'm still not really used the school yet and I know it will take some time for me to get used to it. I think that after I'm more confident in this school I will still be more excited to be here and also once I start making new friends.
