"Attitude is the mind's paintbrush. It can color any situation."                                                               -Anonymous

I believe this quote means that your attitude on things and people define the outcome of a situation. For example if someone gets you really annoyed all the time and you get that person as a partner instead of being angry all the time that that person gets you annoyed you should talk to the teacher and explain things to her and not make things more complicated. Another example is that if you fail a test you could have a negative attitude of blaming it on the teacher or you can have a positive attitude and ask the teacher if there is anyway you could redo it or the test will push you to want to study next time. Your attitude can really affect your life in either a positive or
negative way and that's why you really need to learn how
to deal with how you feel in a positive way.

Attitude

Attitude is the way you feel and think about certain topics, events, people, and objects. You could have a negative attitude or a positive attitude. Attitude also sometimes could define how far you will get in life, if you'll be successful or a failure.

Negative Attitudes: Unhappy people that are usually depressed or sad and don't like to see the positive in things. mad, angry, frustrated, annoyed, irritated,
Positive Attitudes: You always find the best out of everything and everybody. happy, joyful, cheerful, delighted, smiling

Synonyms:

  • outlook
  • viewpoint
  • perspective
  • standpoint
  • position
  • orientation
  • approach
  • inclination
  • temper
  • reaction

Honor

To have honor you have to have integrity, honesty, ethics, good principles, kindness, fairness, trustworthiness, reliability. Your honor is based on the choices you make you, your values and actions. Other people can't earn honor for you, you have to earn it yourself, and honor is something that stays within you something that lowers when you have done something wrong and rises when you do something right .
Some synonyms for honor are: privilege, prestige, recognition, respect
To be dishonorable it means you have chosen the wrong and you don't do thing that deserve the respect of other people. When you are dishonorable you chose to do something that was not the right thing to do.
Synonyms for dishonor: disgrace, shame, humiliation, discredit,
Your honor can't be affected by other people, honor is from within your self and something that only you can change.

" He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."            - A Proverb

I believe this quote means that what you become can be based on who you hang out with. If you hang out with a lot of people who want to succeed you're also going to want to succeed. If you hang out with people who smoke, do drunks, or/and drink you are more likely to fall for it as well and then you'll be one of them and you will just be a failure in life and make more wrong choices. For example if you're a good student and you start hanging out with people who choose the wrong they are going to pressure you into doing what they do and you might fall for it, but if you're a good student and hang out with other people who are also good students or even better, maybe it will push you to do even better in school and you'll end up being successful in life.

"You can't hire someone else to do your pushups for you."                                                                                       -Jim Rohn
This quote means that you can't have someone do the work for  you, you have to do it on your own. For example if you don't do your homework and you decide to copy off a friend, you might receive credit for doing the homework but what good is it if you have the credit if you didn't do it on your own, you didn't learn anything. You do your homework to get more practice in something and there is no use of it if you just copy off a partner. Its like you can't hire a person to go to medical school for you to get a degree, you'll be a doctor and you won't even know know what you are doing. You won't get far in life if the only thing you want is for others to do the work. In groups projects if you have to do research and you let your partners do all the work when it comes to the presentation and teacher asks you a question about the research you won't know anything about it. Another example can be that there is many worksheets the teachers give that you can find online and that you can also find the answers for, but what use it to cheat off the internet if when the day of the test comes you won't know anything because you didn't do it yourself.

I’m not sure if I would like to become an ENT surgeon, it seems interesting, but I'm not sure if I really want to do that for the rest of my life.

Abraham Lincoln Video Reflection

This video told a story about Abraham Lincoln and a man he was traveling with. At first the man offered Lincoln, but he refused. Later the man offered Lincoln tobacco and Lincoln told the man a story about when he was younger when his mom was really sick she told him to never have a drink and use tobacco and he promised her that he wouldn't and then tells the man that he can't break the promise he made with his mother, so he can't accept to smoke with the man. After he told that to the man, the man seemed very touched with the story and said that he would've liked to have that same promise with his mother. It showed integrity how even though his mom was dead, he kept his promise to his mother, even if maybe he had the temptation to try it he never did. This shows that you have to do what you say, keep your word, if you say you're going to do something then do it.

James Allen.jpg"Man's rise or fall, success or failure, happiness, or unhappiness depends on his attitude... a man's attitude will create the situation he imagines."                           -James Allen

I believe this quote means that the way you act, your attitude will decide the thing your mind thinks. I think its saying that if you want to succeed in life you need to have a good attitude because having a bad, negative attitude won't take you nowhere.  For example if you are a person who gives up very easily you'll be a failure and will create unhappiness. If you're a person with a positive person you're more likely to be successful and be happy because you're more likely to turn something negative to a positive thing and find the best out of everything. If you fail a test and are angry and you blame your
teacher then that will lead to failure because you're not really
solving anything with that attitude, but if you're positive and say
that the test will make you next time study more and make you
want to do better next time.

"Kindness is the essence of greatness."                 -Joseph B. Wirthlin

I believe this quote means that to be knd is the greatest success you can reach in life. Kindness is what makes you great. For example if you're a millionaire, but don't like giving money to charity or you just pass by a homeless person and don't have compassion for that person no one cares anymore if you're rich or no they care if you're kind. If a person who barely is making enough money to survive gives something to a homeless person it is showing their greatness and that what other people see the kind thing you have done. People don't like others you are selfish and don't think about helping others, you have to be kind no matter what because even if you don't get a reward as in like money or something material you atleast get the satisfaction that you did something for someone else.

"Visualization-Imagination: What you see is what you get." - Anon

I believe this quote means that whatever it is that you imagine its what you are going to get, since you're imagining it makes you want it more badly, which drives you to do everything you can to get it. For example if you're imagining the next time you have a report card you have straight As and you could just imagine how proud your parents will be then it will drive you to do even better in school so you can get those straight As and get what you imagined. If you don't imagine things then you might not have the same drive to get what you have wanted. Of course you could imagine something that is wrong and you might accomplish it, but  you'll have bad consequences afterwards.

"You will never be a winner if you lose your temper." - ANON

I believe this quote means that in order to win, to be successful you must not lose your temper, If you lose your temper it would show a bad trait and will show that you cannot control your emotions. For example if you're in the finals of a game and your team loses then you should not lose your temper and be mad for losing or screaming at people, instead you should be happy for the triumph of the others and be happy and proud that you atleast got to the finals and that your team at least tried to win. Another example would be that what if an employer doesn't hire you and you just make a huge situation out of it and you're really mad, but then you find out a couple of days later that the employer was going to change his mind and hire you instead, but didn't because of losing your temper.

Clinical Positions need additional licensing after the completion of one or two year supervised internships.

I don’t think I would like to become a social worker because it seems a bit boring to me and it really doesn't interest me at all.

"A CTR champion is a person who makes a great human out of himself."                                     -Noemi Trigueros

I believe she is saying that a person who chooses the right is a person who is successful in life. They are kind, respectful, responsible, trustworthy, humble, generous. If you're a great human it means you have been choosing the right which makes that person a CTR champion. For example if you're rich, but like giving back to those who need it, support charities, and you are very humble about being rich, using your success to better the life of someone else makes you a great person which also makes you a CTR champion.
