Environmental Health Specialist
Duties and
Responsibilities:
An environmental
health specialist has to control the regulation of food, consultation, education,
and a standard that governs the sanitation of foods like milk. An environmental
health specialist should be able to prevent hazardous substance such as
disposable or infectious waste from polluting the environment. They must ensure
a good plan for every environment that would be able to protect and avoid any
polluting or infection. They conduct routine inspections and pre-construction plan review of public facilities.
Average
Salary: $50,460 - $61,318
Education:
A bachelor's
degree from an accredited U.S. college or university is required. Required
licenses, certifications and registrations must be maintained throughout
employment. They also must have two years of environmental health working
experience under the supervision of an environmental health specialist.
I wouldn't want to be an environmental health specialist because this career doesn't catch
my attention and it doesn't fit into what I would like to do in the future
because what I would like to be would be in the biology and chemistry side.
