"Persistence can change failure into extraordinary achievement." -Matt BiondiI believe this quote means that as long as you don't give up on your goals no matter how many times you fail you ill achieve what you want in the end. For example if you want to get a certain number on a mile run you might not achieve it the first time you try to get that time but if you keep on pushing yourself one day you'll be able to run the mile in the time you wanted. Persistence is important because its what keeps you going and what makes you achieve great things no matter how many times you fail. If you don't have persistence you will fail in anything and you will not be likely to achieve those great things you want.
