"Act well your part; there all honor lies." -Alexander Pope I believe this quote means that if you choose the right then that is where honor is. It means that you don't have to go looking for honor, that as long as you always do what is right then you'll have honor. For example you may be in your class and you may not think that you're honorable, but you're always always doing what is right like cooperating with the teacher and helping out classmates when they don't understand something and that make you have honor. As long as you choose the right you have honor, your honor does not depend on others, nobody can earn that honor for you, you have to do it yourself.
